These coloring pages are designed for Sunday school, church Halloween parties, Christian homeschool families, children’s ministry, and Christian classrooms. Instead of focusing on ghosts, monsters, or scary imagery, this packet uses churches, pumpkins, fall leaves, candles, stars, flowers, crosses, and celebrations to teach children about a Christian season of remembrance and hope.
What Does Halloween Mean?
The word Halloween comes from “All Hallows’ Eve,” meaning the evening before All Saints’ Day. “Hallow” is an old word meaning holy or saint.
Halloween comes from the Christian celebration of “All Hallows’ Eve,” the evening before All Saints’ Day. It was a time for Christians to remember and honor the faithful followers of Jesus who had gone before them. While Halloween today is often associated with candy and costumes, its name and Christian history point us back to a season of remembrance, faith, and hope in Christ.
For Christians, this can be a time to remember the saints, honor faithful Christians who have gone before us, and give thanks for the people in our church families who faithfully served Jesus.
It is also a season of hope. Christians believe that Jesus conquered death and gives eternal life to those who believe in Him. Remembering those who have died does not have to be centered around fear. Instead, we can remember their lives with gratitude and look forward to seeing them again and being with Jesus for eternity.
I created these Christian Halloween coloring pages to help children learn about the real meaning of Halloween in a simple, creative, and age-appropriate way.

1. Remembering the Saints Coloring Page
The first coloring page is “Remembering the Saints.”

This page provides an opportunity to talk about the faithful Christians who have gone before us and to remember the ways they loved and served Jesus.
2. All Hallows’ Eve: Celebrating the Saints
The next page celebrates All Hallows’ Eve.

3. All Saints’ Day Fall Tree
The All Saints’ Day Fall Tree coloring page features a beautiful autumn tree with leaves falling around it.
As children color the tree, you can talk about how every season reminds us that life changes, while God’s faithfulness remains.
This simple page works especially well for Sunday school, children’s church, homeschool, or a Christian Halloween activity.
4. All Souls’ Day: We Remember Those We Love
The “All Souls’ Day: We Remember Those We Love” coloring page features three tall candles in the center, surrounded by additional candles, autumn leaves, and stars.
Candles can provide a meaningful opportunity to talk with children about remembering people we love, giving thanks for their lives, and the hope we have in Jesus.
This page can also be used as part of a church lesson about All Souls’ Day.
5. Draw What You Think Heaven Looks Like
This page gives children a chance to use their imagination.
The coloring page includes a cloud, a heavenly gate, and a large open space for children to draw.
The prompt says:
“Draw What You Think Heaven Looks Like.”
Children can draw what they imagine Heaven might look like while talking about the Christian hope of eternal life with Jesus.
This makes the packet more interactive than a traditional coloring book and gives children an opportunity to express their own ideas through art.
6. Celebrate a Life of Faithfulness
The final page takes a joyful approach to remembering a faithful life.
It features cakes, cupcakes, fall decorations, and a cross with the words:
“Celebrate a Life of Faithfulness”

We can thank God for the lives of people who loved Jesus, served others, encouraged their church family, and helped pass their faith on to others.
