One of my favorite activities in the packet is the Halloween Would You Rather game.

Kids read each Halloween-themed question and underline their answers. Then they mail the page to their pen pal.

Once their pen pal receives it, they can make their own choices and compare their answers.

Did you both choose the same Halloween candy? Would you rather go trick-or-treating or have a Halloween party? Did you make completely different choices?

It’s a simple activity, but it gives pen pals something fun to do together even when they’re not in the same place.
