This printable scavenger hunt includes two parts:

Scavenger Hunt Cards

Print one scavenger hunt card for each child who is playing.

Each card has pictures of the squishy toys the kids will be searching for.

How to Play the Squishy Toy Scavenger Hunt

The game is very simple to set up!

1. Print the Scavenger Hunt Cards

Print one scavenger hunt card for every child playing.

For example, if you have four kids playing, print four scavenger hunt cards.

2. Print the Hidden Squishy Cards

Print the resource page containing the squishy toy cards.

Cut out each card.

These are the cards you’ll hide for the kids to find.

3. Hide the Cards

Hide the squishy cards around your playing area.

You can hide them around one room, throughout the house, outside, or wherever you’re playing.

For younger kids, keep the cards in easier-to-spot places.

For older kids, make the hiding spots a little more challenging!

4. Start the Hunt!

Give every player their own scavenger hunt card.

Kids can search for the hidden squishy cards.

When they find one, they look at the picture and mark that squishy off on their scavenger hunt card.

5. Put the Card Back!

Here’s the important part:

When a player finds a hidden squishy card, they put it back exactly where they found it.

Kids aren’t collecting or taking the hidden cards. They’re simply finding them, marking their own scavenger hunt card, and returning the card to its hiding place.

This allows every player to find and mark off the same hidden cards.

6. Keep Searching

Kids continue searching until they’ve found all of the squishy toys on their scavenger hunt card.

You can have everyone work at their own pace or turn it into a friendly race to see who can find everything first!
